How it works

Arcadia raises a coin in one transaction, inside its own Uniswap V4 pool against HYPE, and lets its creator set the fee.

1Launch

You give the coin a name, a ticker, an image, a description and its links, choose a creator fee from 0% to 10%, and, if you like, a first buy in HYPE. The image and the coin's metadata are pinned to IPFS, and your wallet signs one call: ArcadiaFactory.launch(name, symbol, metadataURI, creatorFeeBps, minCoinsOut), with the first buy as its value.

That one transaction deploys the coin with its fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, opens its pool, lays the whole supply on the curve, records you as the creator with your fee, and runs your first buy through the curve at the same price and fees any buyer pays.

2The curve

Every coin trades on a constant-product curve: the HYPE in the pool times the coins left in it stays constant, so each buy lifts the price for the next one and each sell lowers it. Arcadia lays the whole supply as one single-sided position in the coin's Uniswap V4 pool, from the curve's start price upward.

The pool is the curve. There is no graduation and no migration: the coin is a Uniswap V4 pool from its first block, where routers and aggregators can reach it. The hook refuses every removal of liquidity and every outside addition, so the curve stays the curve.

On every coin's page the curve is drawn as a spire: its width at each height is the coins left in the pool, and the ring of light is where the price sits now.

3Trading

Buy with HYPE or sell back to HYPE on the coin's page. The quote shows the coins or HYPE you get, the price impact and every part of the fee before you sign. A slippage limit protects the trade if the price moves before it lands.

A buy is one transaction: ArcadiaRouter.buy(coin, minCoinsOut, deadline). A sell is one transaction too: you sign an EIP-2612 permit for the coin (a signature, not a transaction), and the router uses it in ArcadiaRouter.sell(coin, amount, minHypeOut, deadline, permit).

4Claiming and lowering

Your 80% of the creator fee accrues in HYPE to the wallet that launched the coin. Open your profile and press Claim on a coin, or Claim all, whenever you like: ArcadiaHook.claim(coin).

You can lower a coin's creator fee from the same place: ArcadiaHook.lowerCreatorFee(coin, bps). The new rate applies from the next trade. A fee can only go down; it can never be raised.

5Threads

Each coin has a thread. To post, you sign in with your wallet by signing one message (Sign-In with Ethereum). No transaction, nothing moves.
